A qualified CA(SA), Richard is an Executive Director of Finance at Standard Bank and is responsible for Income Statement and Balance Sheet substantiation, statutory and regulatory reporting, establishment and implementation of robust governance and financial control frameworks and policies, key stakeholder management and leading a team of finance professionals. Richard also serves as the Chairperson of the CIB Finance Diversity and Inclusion Forum and holds executive director roles in a few of the group’s smaller entities.

As a CA(SA) and CFA holder, Louis has over 20 years’ experience within the Financial Services sector, having worked in the UK; US and South Africa. He primarily focuses on the Financial Markets at large assets managers and investment banks and currently manages a portfolio of financial assets with exposure across the globe, while also consulting to various other investment funds.

He is currently VP: Institutional Development at the UNISA and holds a PhD and MBA from University of Pretoria, a B.(Hons) Admin & IR from the University of the North, an MBA from Regent Business School, and a Diploma in Labour Law. He is responsible for strategic coordination of Institutional Advancement and HR Management including Marketing, Communication, Strategic Partnerships and Internationalisation, the Unisa Foundation and Alumni Relations.

Her broad and versatile skill set spans across external audit (Big 4), business process controls consulting, compliance, internal audit, specialised lending operations, corporate credit, investor relations and currently Investment Banking at Investec.

Isaah is currently Chief Economist of Alexander Forbes; a columnist for Business Day and the 2019 ABSIP Economist of the Year.
Holding a MCom in Financial Economics, BCom (Hons) in Econometrics, BCom in Economics and Econometrics, from University of Johannesburg, Isaah is currently the chief economist at Alexander Forbes. His responsibilities include formulating the macroeconomic strategy for the business, which entails identifying large-scale economic risks and opportunities that benefit the business, its clients and investment processes.

Thakane has extensive experience in Human Capital Management: managing and leading teams at a local; regional & global level; and Gender Mainstreaming Her experience is in Petrochemical, Mining, Retail Banking, Investment Banking and Development Finance Institution. She serves on the Board of NPO Hareyalebala Foundation which focuses on development of children, women and youth; is a Trustee for a Provident Fund and works for the DBSA.
A strong believer in children, youth and women development and empowerment.

Kavisha has 18 years’ experience within Information Technology; 10 years spent in Project Management and 8 yrs in Software testing leadership roles. She has lead multiple project teams; with experience working abroad in the UK and working with distributed teams. Her accumulated experience has leds her to focus on improving project efficiencies and delivery across the financial and insurance sector. Kavisha’s values are integrity, respect and a passion for learning that she shares to help others.

She has held senior finance positions at SAFA, Ernst and Young where she instituted corporate governance and financial management processes. With a love for finance and numbers, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise in efficient management of funds to meet the objectives of the organisation.

Tumelo is the founder of Kutlwanong Centre for Maths, Science and Technology. He served as an ABET Supervisor at Morakapula Adult Centre and became the manager for the outreach portfolio. Tumelo served as Role Model Intervention Programme Manager for Grade 12 and later became Secondary School Intervention Manager for Grade 11 and 12 for the DoE in Gauteng. Tumelo was the principal Makhoarane Primary School until 2009 when he resigned and permanently focused on the Kutlwanong programme.
